I actually don’t mind working out. I used to, when I was younger, and first realized I was not going to be stick-thin anymore without any effort. I started going to a gym in my neighborhood that was overcrowded, overpriced and somehow made me feel terrible about myself. Does this scenario sound familiar? I was a young career girl, single in the city, and ate my Lean Cuisine meals over the sink after a long day at the office and then hitting the gym. It did not feel fun at all, but I got myself slimmed down, back to the weight I was in college. I resented it. And when I got too busy, I would skip working out and skip a meal, just to keep things even. It’s been a few years since my twenties, and I understand how being healthy in a general way is much better for my well being, immune system and longevity. I’ve learned to cook and eat whole foods that are lower in fats and calories and give my body the nutrients it needs to burn. And while dieting is still a struggle, I have found some exercises I actually enjoy. I love waking, I love dancing, and I love my weekly strength training class. There is, however, one area I have not been able to tone the way that I would like. It’s my bottom. I think many other women like me are facing a similar issue. I’m reasonably fit and in shape, but my butt has begun to droop. It’s very sad.
I first noticed that my rear was not as cute and perky as it once was in my bathing suit. Otherwise, I thought I looked pretty good. But my suit was sagging in the back. I realized I was going to have to take action. Because I’m in my thirties now, I guess I should accept that my body does not have the muscle tone of a twenty-two year old, but damn it I am not going to take this sitting down, LOL. It’s annoying because I exercise frequently, getting a lot of cardio and some toning. I just didn’t feel I had any more time to give. I’m a busy girl. I have work, a husband, a home, and social obligations. I started to research my options and decided I was going to have to address this problem with technology. Because even though I enjoy how good it feels to workout, I wanted to be smart about this. I wanted an effective workout that didn’t waste my time. This is when I discovered a product called The Flex Mini.

I was, understandably, somewhat concerned. I am not the type of person to take shortcuts. I don’t mind hard work and I know that it’s a long road to an ideal physique. However, I read and saw a few things in their online videos and reviews that I thought made sense and seemed reasonably to me. First of all, The Flex Mini device looked legitimate. They were not promising – like so many diet pills and fads – that I would not have to be mindful of calories. They did not suggest I would be a twig within days. The website claimed that you had to put in the time, to wear the mini regularly and pay attention to what you ate. Those were all really good signs to me. I started to feel more trusting, but not yet convinced that this was an outstanding product or that it would work for me. I was encouraged that the Flex Mini people offered a money back guarantee. I like to try things out for myself, whenever possible. I also appreciated that the system comes with an instructional manual, as I am not always the most tech savvy woman and I wanted to be able to use it perfectly, to get my best results quick.
When I ordered, I felt nervous. I wondered if I should just suck it up and start doing more squats and lunges. But I didn’t want to go to a gym, or spend any more of my precious daytime doing boring, tedious, not all that effective workouts. I was heartened to see that The Flex Mini increases the strength of your buttocks muscles with the Electronic Muscle Stimulation, so that you really get a firm rear end. To be perfectly honest with you, I wanted my butt to look and feel tight. My goals were to look super toned and have my husband still think I’m young and sexy. A little superficial, yeah, but what woman isn’t?

One of the first things that really amazed me about The Flex Mini is how discreet it is. I can wear it under shorts, and have discovered that I can wear it while I fitness walk after work, which is a great way to multitask. The other surprise is that it doesn’t feel funny or strange. It certainly isn’t uncomfortable. You know it’s working, I mean, I can feel the pulses while I have it on and afterward it’s just like I did a really good twenty minute toning routine. I feel like, yeah, I just worked my butt off, literally! It’s also great, I learned for the backs of thighs. I never liked my thighs and so this was just an added bonus, since I thought The Flex Mini was just strictly for butts. It’s kind of cool, actually, how quickly I did see results. My husband actually checked me out when we went out to dinner. My backside looks better in skirts and dresses – they don’t pull so much across the rear and in jeans I have to say, I look amazing. I can wear designer jeans and feel really confident that I don’t have “mom bum”. It’s cool, I must say.

So, basically, it works like this: you apply the gel pads that come with The Flex Mini, you strap it around your hips/thighs/buttocks area, and it does the work for you. My greatest concern when I would go to the gym was my form. I never felt adequate at running or using the intense machinery. With this handy little devise I know I am always getting the proper workout to tone that trouble area. I never lack in motivation when I am dancing to great rhythms and music I can sing along to, or when I am working out some stress power walking. I have even come to enjoy the toning class I take occasionally and am so proud to be able to do more than five push-ups. I have developed a confidence I never knew I could have and love what my body is capable of achieving. I have to say, though, it’s also fantastic to not have to motivate myself to do the exercises I hate the most, which are squats and knee bends and any other prescribed glute-toning technique. I am happy to let the flex Mini do the work for me in this one aspect of physical fitness. And when I am ready to increase the intensity, I simply adjust my Flex Mini so I get stronger, and therefore, more firm.
UPDATE: I found this video on YouTube, that provides a basic overview of The Flex Mini. It’s a little bit clogged up with advertising-talk, but it will give you a better idea of the power of this thing:
I feel quite confident about endorsing this product because I have seen and felt the difference it makes. I know it works. And so I don’t have any reservations telling my friends – or complete strangers – how well the Flex Mini actually works. I always am sure to disclaim that I do a lot of exercise on my own, without the aid or assistance equipment of any kind. I’m totally proud of the shape I’m in. I love that I can run and jump, that I can walk for mile and dance at maximum intensity for an hour without stopping. I can keep up with the young girls in my cardio class and always keep a smile on my face. And even more so now, that I have this amazing behind. I really feel sexier. And I know I am stronger, too. I can feel the difference climbing stairs and walk uphill. I love that I get noticed by my husband and feel good about how I look from every angle. It’s a terrific thing to feel comfortable in your own skin. I never would have guessed I would be so vain about my butt, but I have to tell you, getting into skinny jeans at my age makes me feel vibrant, confident, and positive about life. It’s an overall health question at this point. I wouldn’t say it if it weren’t true. The Flex Mini has changed my life for the better, and it could have the same impact on yours. You should check it out.
UPDATE: Some readers have been emailing me and asking about the return policy for The Flex Mini. Just to test it out for you guys, I ordered another Flex Mini, and then immediately dropped it back in the mail to return it. I’m happy to report that my money was refunded to my credit card after just a couple of days.

This sounds good to me, but really does it work? I can’t afford to waste any more money on any more scams.
